Certified Floral Designer (CFD®) This is the first step to become an internationally recognized floral designer and one of the proper ways to participate in the AIFD PFDE (Professional Floral Design Evaluation) should you wish to take the next step in the floral design journey and to pursue AIFD accreditation. Designed and taught by Dr. Solomon Leong CFD AIFD, and based on “The AIFD Guide to Floral Design: Terms, Techniques, and Traditions.”, our CFD® course focuses on the application of design principles with use of different design techniques to achieve an AIFD standard floral arrangement. Most of all, it is delivered in a systematic way to help you to develop your floral design procedure and style. At SOLOMON BLOEMEN Flower School, we don’t’ teach you to copy, we inspire you to create! To graduate from this course, you are required to present homework for every lesson learnt, and the final lesson is a timed-constraint based evaluation session. Students who have completed the CFD® and achieve at least 90% attendance will be recommended & arranged by SOLOMON BLOEMEN Flower School, an AIFD® Education Partner, to participate in the AIFD online test to pursue the CFD designation. This course is one out of the three modules under the International Accreditation Programme.
